Do you mean the Grid Adjust Pad Page you can download

That is for the Pad Page section, and you can follow what it does by watching the markers in the waveform

Once it's been downloaded and installed, it will work like this (note the changes to the waveform markers on the top of the screen)

umm okay, i more mean like when i play a song and in the intro, is it possible to to take a beat out, and then add the same beat in later in the song?

like copy and past a beat and then play the beat as like a key bored?

i found out how to get a beat grid :)

You can loop a section of the track, then save the loop and then put it on the sampler and use when you want. Would that do what you want?

Maybe you mean the beat-grid effect?
It can be selected from the effect drop down, and the interface can be opened from the drop-down as well (right side) or the + button on the effect panel on the deck.

Yes, that doesn't sound like Beat Grid :)

But as the othes says there are multiple possiblities for that

Well you can download kick drums and stuff, and play them from the sampler. They will stay in beat with the track. Or if you want the same beat from the track, then you could loop a section of the track you are playing and then use that. I would suggest you read the section of the manual on using the sampler. Otherwise it would take a lot of explaining on here if you have no knowledge of it. There are plenty of youtube videos too.

For streaming you can use spotify, deezer, pulselocker and content unlimited.

I do not personally use any of those as i want to own everything and have it on my hard drive.

As a starter I would personally recommend digitaldjpool as it is really cheap and you can download as much as you want for pretty much the same cost as spotify. There are a lot of remixes on there, but lots of good stuff too.

I then use CD Pool for all my new music and then download from Qobuz mainly any old stuff to plug any gaps. I have just started getting into video though so have downloaded a few hundred from xtendamix.

Depends what kind of music you are going to be playing, and whether you are going to be doing this in public or just your house.

but I'm looking at just doing a few mixers and see if i can get into it,

pulselocker and digitaldjpool are not in Australia anymore, ill good how i can use Spotify,

spent a solid 2 days on working virtual dj slowing making my way around it :)

Well I am not a club dj, just a mobile and wedding dj, so in all honesty there isnt much need for samples. I am mostly playing motown, soul, pop music. I do tend to have a kick drum running constantly on deck 4, so that if needs be i can bring the fader up, bring the kick in and carry it through the mix to the next song. Other than that, most of the ones i use (infrequently) are ones i have sampled from records and stuff. For instance, from the film Titanic i did sample "Is there anyone alive out there" and also "so you want to come to a real party" but like i said, not much need for them in the mobile world. I do tend to play around with hot cues and stuff to remix on the fly a bit, but depends on the record. Doesn't work with The Four Tops.

LOL I like that one. Consider the idea stolen!

Yes the Four Tops can be remixed. I can demonstrate if you like (pick a tune).

Ha, you are welcome to it, I do find it funny when i drop it in.

Well I am sure a man of your experience can remix The Four Tops, but myself, I am ok with modern music with a steady beat, bit still trying to master mixing older stuff. Feel free to have a go at I Cant Help Myself, but I wouldn't be risking doing that, not on the fly anyway.

[After a quick Google]

Actually there are already some pretty good remixes out there - JPOD, Jon Cha, Fonzie....

The multitrack stems must be on the web somewhere.
