Sujet Denon MC 7000 keeps disconnecting from virtual dj

Hello there, Denon MC 7000 keeps dis connecting from Virtual DJ. I have to unplug and plug back in the the USB each time. After few songs is does not responds to Virtual DJ.
I plugged in external mixer and same thing keeps happening. I have Mac book pro, Denon MC 7000 and bose tone match external mixer.
Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Could it be a bad port, or bad cable? That would be my first process of elimination.

I replaced the cable. Still not communicating with the virtual dj after about 3 songs.

This happened to my MC6000mk2 when I had wrong psu with too low ampere rating. Are you using the original psu to your mixer? Any usb-hubs? If you use the original, it could be defect... if so, you could use a voltage meter to check the voltage output from the psu when it is connected and is fauling to check that it is not going under 12v. If you don't have experience with electronics, you could ask someone that is, and just show them my explaination.

Edit: seems MC7000 use 5v power supply, not 12v

I am certainly not great at electronics unless I am taught how to, i have sent email to sweetwater where i purchased this product. Appreciate your help.

Did you send it back? Mine arrived today no issues so far. It's been on for almost 12hrs. Keep us posted.
