Not that I can learn about the xml and picture settings, but not that familiar to edit thoose files yet.

Does anyone know to delete the Fx & Cue etc. to not be showed, and take away the file names (I would like have my filesnames not showing).
Would be nice if someone can share some complete settings for copy/paste.

Or if there could be some more pre-sets in Vdj, in future updates ;)

select none for video skins and it will all go away

well kinda figured the other stuff would be useless with out the names .. what do i know.

But that is not what I want to do.
I would like to edit the skin or broadcast skin so that just some of the features is showing.
Example, take away the text of the files and also delete the Fx & Cue etc.
 
I guess it's the club DJs who don't want their customers to know what they're playing.

The mobile guys wouldn't generally have an issue with it IMO (and would usually be playing tracks people know anyway).


I really don't see the point of hiding the names TBH because Shazam would give them an answer anyway.

I was speaking to a younger DJ on Friday night who goes to other clubs and Shazams the music played to help build his own collection.
 
The reasons could be multiple, I just want to know how to edit these settings.

And as stated above, I want to edit the skins, so the name of the playing files is not showing ;)
 
The dev staff already told you. Any further discussion should really be in the skins forum.

Edit the .xml as explained before, and delete the lines 375 to 401:
Quote :

The previous post I referred to was the one explaining how to "edit the .xml", the new post then went one to explain what to remove exactly from the xml to hide the titles.
I Hope this was helpful and you managed to get the result you wanted.
If not, I'm sure someone can post a ready-made videoskin in the addons section doing what you're looking for.
 
I have not get the results I wanted to , but perhaps someone will make some pre-set skins in the future.

And this is still a beta version :)
