Sujet Happy Holidays (website Christmas Skin)

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Since the appearance of the 'Happy Holidays' or in reality the 'Christmas Skin' on the website I'm finding a lot of lag and poor response. How long do we have to endure this before getting back to reality?

Ditto. I've been concerning myself more with a xmas skin for the software, to make it look a bit more festive. :-)

I'm on a 2017 Mac with Mojave and the skin is slow to respond to any movement. Moving the mouse, display slow to catchup, scrolling, etc. It's like in the old days when I used PCs and the mouse would stagger across the screen instead of smooth scrolling when there was malware kicking around. I've checked there is no malware or virus' on my machinery.

Both my PC and phone are responsive as usual. Perhaps it’s a Mac thing.

Fixed backgrounds used to be a performance problem for Chrome as well until last year but this year it's working fine

It's a strange one, every other site I visit daily there is no problem, it's only when on this site.

Seems to be the Safari browser.

Firefox & Tor both work fine
