Ok, will prepare a separate Addon so that you can try it out.

We are not sure yet, but once we managed to enable the screens, the Jog Leds were acting weird, flashing with no reason, some unknown conflict between the software leds and the hardware ones.

I love SHIFT-JOG to move fast through a record, and edited this mapping to do that.

Just in case this helps anyone, I manually edited the mapping zip to replace
<map value="SHIFT" action="shift" />


with
<map value="SHIFT" action="shift &amp; loop ? wheel_mode &apos;loop_move&apos; while_pressed : wheel_mode &apos;search&apos; while_pressed" />
 
Hey. djdad, is there any updates? Is there any addon you've mentioned?
 
Wanted to clarify before thinking about buying it. Can I modify midi mapping the same way in VDJ as other controllers?
 
Does pressing and holding the JOG button and turning the Jog Wheel adjusts tension of your S4 MK3 in VDJ?

After reading all the entries I come to the conclusion: VDJ will never support the NI Traktor S4 MK3. And getting the controller to 100% in some other way is probably nothing.
It's a shame because it's a very good controller and the VDJ is much better than Traktor.

Hey VirtualDJ team can you please please PLEASE do something for the Traktor S4 MK3 so i can use it on you all's platform your platform is 20 times better than Traktor's. I appreciate the quick fix you all did but I know if you all can get this Traktor S4 MK3 fully functional it will make everyone who owns this board extremely satisfied as well as make novice to expert DJs extremely better and happy.
Can you all please do this for the DJing community please.
 
Dang. I wish I'd read this before opening a Sweetwater credit card and ordering an S4 MK3. Sounds like the add-on to enable screens may be coming soon though? I would definitely prefer that vs jog wheel colors. Hmm, not sure if I should return it or take the chance and wait.

@djdad let me know if you have a patreon or somewhere I can donate!
 
Firstly, we need contact where it's possible to reach VDJ Engineer. Most of the work with screens is done by Joe Easton, but I don't think he is working with compatibility with other software like VDJ.

No, since NI has gone out of their way to block other software from supporting the S4mk3, he would probably be fired if he answered any questions from Atomix regarding VDJ support

Regarding a "VDJ engineer", the lead engineer for integration already posted a few times in this thread

 
I kept my s4 in hopes this would be released soon.. Has anyone heard any word of the screen fix coming?
