I minimized the 64 bit version and it looked fine.
So i deleted the 64 bit version and installed 32 bit. This works without any partial words.
Possibly the problem is the laptop is HD.
Would it fine with 32 bit version?

For me its a resolution issue. If i drop the res of my laptop screen down from 1920x1080 to anything lower it renders fine, but obviously doesnt look right as your native res has changed.

Maybe it's just the HD systems that this is a problem with.
Using the 32 bit version of VDJ, does not have this issue.
