Greetings,
I recently purchased a Macbook Air operating with Catalina OS. I had a PC operating on Windows 7 and needed to upgrade. I transferred my files on an external drive and copied the Virtual DJ file but the songs are coming up with the green asterisk by the title. It is not reading my cues from any of my folders. Can you please help me?

did you perform the copy from inside vdj?

No I just copied the music and VDJ folders to the hard drive and plugged it into the MAC. Also, it doesn't come up in my columns on VDJ the same as the PC did. Now I have to click Local Music/Volumes/My Passport since I had all of my music on the Computer hard drive instead of an external drive.

You can create a database backup on the old computer and then import it on the new computer, that way all the entries will be in the correct place.

I thought it would read the folder I had on the hard drive. Instead it reads from the new folder VDJ installed on the Mac. I had to add the database to the folder on my Mac.
