multiple occurences of [PLACEHOLDER] allowed in strings - great ^^
get_effect_button_count returns the number of button in the effect - perfect ^^
stopwatch & stopwatch_reset start a counting up stopwatch / reset to zero - may be a countdown ?
effect_fxsendreturndeck_multi unknown - some doc ?
search_playlists open close the playlist search dialog (not so hidden ^^)
has_aux returns whenever the audio config define an aux chanel
aux_volume set level of aux chanel output

I doubt the fx send/return features are useful other than for the specific controllers they are used for.
(Although if you have an audio interface with a bunch of inputs and outputs and some external effect boxes you could)
effect_fxsendreturndeck_multi is for controllers that have an fx send/return channel for each deck but that can sometimes also be used for mic/sampler/master fx if I remember correctly :p
