Sujet VDJ8 Crashing Over & Over

I use IMac with Catalina and 16 GB of memory. I'm a subscriber to VDJ8 and get updates. Tonight during a music show, VDJ8 crashed 4 times. Any ideas why? Thank you.

There's an early access release that fixes the problem.
