Leaving my playlist to scroll up to Deezer, and then searching, then scrolling back to the playlist, 40+ times, is frustrating.
The search box searches the currently selected [area] - e.g. a specific playlist. That's obviously useful.
Is there a way to tweak the search box - from anywhere, e.g. offline playlists - so by clicking a button next to the search bar I can search Deezer (or another online source, or my library)?

You can have VDJ search locally and online at the same time - see VDJ manual.
