I don't seem to be able to set a group for my recorded drum loop:

You need to drop it to a Sampler Bank, and then open Editor from there.
If you open Editor from the Files List, you dont get of course any option to assign to Group or change color

Maybe the user manual should be updated to mention this? It's clear when you write it here, yet the manual doesn't comment on the fact that groups and color be rather bank properties than sample properties.
I noticed another thing:
When browsing samples in the Sampler folder, groups are only getting displayed when the corresponding bank is also selected in the Samples SideView. Is this by intention? I don't see a reason for not displaying the groups when the corresponding bank is not selected in the Samples SideView.
