i have 2tb hard drive and my hard drive is mostly made up of dupliacte mp3's stored in differant folders within the hard drive however my issue is i need to remove all these diplicates as i dont need them and its taking up too much space can anyone reccomend an app to remove these or what can i do

You can list duplicates in the VDJ browser.

not sure,
was relatively easy before quick filters by using database scope
but it looks only folder scoped now and recurse database is not always possible :(
... and as VDJ alters files (tags) now, tags date and size of file used to detect duplicates differs and VDJ often detects them as different files
song fingerprints would be a nice addition for that

The only thing I can think of is go into file explorer and do a search if you know the name of the artist or the track and delete the ones you do not want it will take time as i have done it that's the only thing i can suggest.

Just use the Duplicate Filter Folder
(as for scope, all filters in the "Filters" root folder have scope database in EA, but this version is not Public Release yet, and wont change anything anyways)

Can create your own..
Create a new Filter Folder, and set the action to: duplicates
Thats it ;-)
