So I was messing with "options". Ended up resetting defaults. Before, I had the knobs on controller as a default set. Eg: turn on controller, load VDJ8 and whatever the control eq's were set at the skin show the same postions.
I can't remember what option it was to allow that. Any Idea???

The instant option works. but only when I touch the knobs on controller. I guess I can work with that. I just had some setting where I would run VDJ and the eqs would automatically set whatever the controller was set at.

can't think of how a setting would make a difference, booting the program and it calling refresh_controller "should" sync the skin to the controller.
I'm not doubting you, you have the device right there. I'm just working from what I've picked up over the years, this might be a dev question.
