Hello, VDJ and dear users of Virtual DJ !
After 4 years with Traktor and 14years with Serato i need a challenge in my dj life.
So, right now i see VDJ like one of the most interesting dj software on market.
After few weeks playing at home with mouse, VDJ looks very cool and exciting....
But i need to test in real life VDJ, i mean at events and there is a problem.....with my DDJ SZ connected after few minutes in trial version , right deck is not hearing, it happens many times...need to close and reopen VDJ...
You are all dj's and you know that, the real test is only at gigs where you can test all posibilities .
So, what can i do to test properly VDJ before buy it ?

You get a 10 minute test to prove your equipment with vdj, if you want longer then you'll need to subscribe for a month.

And why they said you have 30 days trial ?

oh, yeah I forgot about that, it should just offer the trial in the licences tab in app.

Thank for reply but this is exact the issue....
With 30 days trial mode, after few minutes right deck is not hearing so i can't properly test VDJ.....

You have full version for 30 days (trial).
Not hearing right deck has nothing to do with the trial or not.
Make sure you have correct audio setup:

And what do you mean exactly by "right deck is not hearing"?
In headphones only? on speakers? and does the deck completely stop operate or just audio?

Rune, thanks for reply.
Not hearing means that :when open Vdj with DDJ SZ connected, everything works fine but after almost 10 minute the right deck is playing normally but with no sound on headphones and speakers.
After close and reopen Vdj everything is ok but after few minute the issue is back again.....

Ah that means you are running in limited trial mode.
For each run you get 10 minutes full operations.
BUT, if you login, inside the software, with the login you are using on website here, you will activate 30 days full uninterrupted trial... with all pro features.
And you could just get the license, the DDJ-SZ will work fine ;-) Unless you want the trial first

Why would it only affect the right deck though? My understanding was that after ten minutes the controller would not function at all.

I am connected inside of Vdj with same account.
I do not have a problem to get full pro licence but first of all, need to be sure Vdj works fine.....
Right now i have this audio issue....

Right deck cause dual deck output require pro license.
What works for 10 minutes will work forever with the license..
There is no pro trial activated at your account, so make sure you login with exactly same account as you use on site here, and you should get a 30 days trial. (with the controller connected)
And if you are, contact support here: https://www.virtualdj.com/help/ so they can take a look

Ok, now seems to be ok, with new audio setting have no more issues in 2 hours practice at home.
One question, is there a way to make bigger waveforms in default skin ?

Just change waveform in the layout drop down.. or search waveform in settings and change to "color". . and perhaps frequency if you prefer over stems color separations

When turn up and down gain volume from mixer, waveforms size is increase or decrease..,
