We use VDJ in our bars and are looking for a way to run a script from our automation system that's external to VDJ. In other words, we'd build a bunch of scripts in VDJ that handle our needs for that bar and then have our central automation system connect to VDJ and tell a particular script to run at the appropriate time. What we can't figure out is how to execute a script via telnet, ssh, API, or any other ethernet socket connection. Does anyone have any suggestions or ever tried this?

A bit out of my comfort zone, but by the looks it's pretty straight forward to have a c++ vdj plugin to act as a TCP Server.
