Sujet Sampler Volume and Clipbank

First time using VDJ 2021... Last night I loaded a video in the clip bank. It took me forever to figure out why the video was not showing on my screens. I had to bring up the Sampler "volume" knob on my mixer (Roland 707m) in order for the video to show.

Is there a way to bypass this? Having the sample volume all the way up is potentially dangerous when live mixing.
