Hello all!
I've made a few skin modifications already (started with the excellent VDJ DARK skin by DJ-Santi) but am struggling with a few more.
First, I'd like the song's year to appear next to the artist on each deck. I've tried adding the code:
<text size="12" color="#606060" action="get_year"/>
just after the text tag with action=get_artist and it doesn't seem to work. Furthermore, how would I enclose the year in parentheses?
Secondly, I'd like to restore the old functionality where if you were playing an audio-only file, you could drag a video into the deck's video preview and it would immediately begin playing. As of right now, it creates a video edit. Generally I'm dragging pre-rendered visuals to these audio tracks so I don't necessarily want to save a video edit, I just want it to work for that one instance and then go away forever. Is there a way to do this via the skin XML?
