How to add a new virtual folder now in the latest build of VDJ?

click on the text in MyLists saying "click here to create a new list"

right click the folder you want to create the list in.
 
But I don't want a shortcut for one folder, I want a virtual folder with multiple conditions (year, BPM, genre, etc..)
 
Then drag it where you want it.
 
Too complicated to right click somewhere inside the music archive to create new virtual folder and then move/drag it up. The icon to add a new virtual folder is really missing now.
 
then make it in lists.
 
OK. From time to time, it can be used for one-time use, as a bypass of the missing icon. :-)

The problem with creating a virtual folder using my list is that they are only subfolders. How do you create a virtual folder in the root folders?
 
just move it on to root, it's not a complicated problem.
 
I find it annoying too...how do I move a "new list" under My Lists, to be a "new virtual folder" under the root? Where do I drag it to?
 
I am having the same issue as well... maybe the functionality was accidentally removed, maybe it was intentionally removed. Here is a better description of the issue though:

Until a recent update this spring/summer, you could create a "Virtual Folder" in the left pane of the file browser. It would have a yellow folder icon on it, and it would link directly to a folder on your computer or external drive. It would not be a list of added music, but a direct way to access the specific directory and it's sub-directories. It seems impossible to make a new Virtual Folder in the newer versions of VDJ. We want to know how to create these I guess now "older style" Virtual Folders like what used to be available in VDJ. Not just a list.

Ah okay yes, the favorites folder. Thank you, got the name mixed up. I searched for virtual folder so no wonder I couldn't find it.
