Yes. I know.
Instead of a bunch of users writing the question, I had the answer and wrote the question anyway.
A bit of a bad joke, I guess.

But I am curious why no one is writing about it besides a couple of YouTubers.

Any downsides/bugs to the Early Release?

Any experiences from anyone on the forum?

But I couldn't find a word via searching the forum.

earlyAccessUpdates Yes

and you will be able to upgrade to 2025

I know but I don't want to upgrade only to find out there are some compromises or downgrades or bugs included.

I would like a little reassurance that things are good in "2025", yet not word of such here about a whole new version.

As of right now for ME 2025 isn't ready, whatever they are doing to the sampler has caused me a lot of confusion. Things are super layered and there's no real instructions on how to use anything.

I for 1 am not upgrading till things are laid out in a clear fashion. And Im a user who ALWAYS upgrades because I don't believe in going backwards so that should tell you everything you need to know of now from my personal experience 🤷🏽‍♂️

They pretty much fixed the "new behavior is default" issue with making stem swappable sample banks an explicit opt in for the user, so at this point for most if not all legacy use cases it is most likely ok.
I agree though, the docs need a serious revamp to explain what can be done though.

An aside/fyi - per song stem swappable banks are huge for live remixers who like to incorporate stems into their mixing (possibilities really are endless there to remix the song).

Stems don't work. virtualdj can't see them in the same folder as the files are.
I have to go beck to 2024.

No issues here with stems.

Maybe leave it a couple of days until the sampler is fine tuned but otherwise OK.

I don't think you can use the early versions when you are at events, you can have surprises, I gave up on the early and only use the stable versions.
