Sujet: Pitch shift quality and autogain
I already wrote that I have a problem with the sound quality when changing the tempo, with pitch quality settings 2,3,4. With the slightest change in tempo, the sound becomes quieter and worse. I finally figured out what the matter is. I do not use autogain. And if my track plays with an overload at the input, then changing the pitch with quality settings 2, 3 or 4 instantly spoils the sound, as if a very strong compressor is turned on. With setting 1, this does not happen. I understand that playing with an overload at the input is generally wrong, but at the same time, if I do not change the pitch or use quality setting 1, then I do not hear any distortion in the sound (if I do not overload the channel too much). Of course, I will monitor the input level more closely, but still, in my opinion, there is some kind of error in the pitch algorithms at high quality settings with sound compression or something like that.

And there are a couple of other small errors that I have noticed for several years now, and they still are not fixed. The first one is that if I select all the tracks in the sidelist or automix tab and try to delete them all at once (ctrl + a and then del.) then quite often the deletion does not happen on the first try. The second problem is that occasionally, when using automix, the sound simply disappears. And not even at the moment of switching to a new track, but in the middle of the one currently playing. The only thing that helps is stopping the track and starting it again. This happens quite rarely, maybe once out of 10-20 evenings. I have encountered both problems on different laptops. And my wife, a DJ, also confirms their presence.
