thankful it's dead? okay now that's just dumb. other p2p and file sharing apps have been in the works for a while now. i'm certainly never happy when anything really good is terminated, goes out of business, shuts down, is discontinued, etc.. that just would make absolutely no sense.

Lookin forward to freenet being easy to use (it's a pain in the ass right now). This p2p proggy doesn't use any server, it can't be closed. When it is user friendly, it will be the ultimate file sharing agent.

It may be truly distributed so that the RIAA canot go after the company owning the servers, but they will start going after the service providers to block the application. The ISP's have real businesses to worry about, they will roll right over.
