Sujet Auto-mix ignoring settings et. al.

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Using Version 1.12 of AtomixMP3 on both Win 98 SE and Win NT 4.0 SP 6, I have noticed that auto mix soes the following:

It sometimes starts songs seconds into them rather than from the beginning. If you watch the payer windows, you can see the dial indicator not positioning at the 0-degrees location, rather it sometimes jumps as far as 45-degrees and starts the song from there.

Also, I have noticed that sometimes with auto-pich disabled, auto-mix still uses auto-pitch, which on my Win NT machine causes the songs to jump and skip when the pitch is gradually reset by auto-mix. It requires me to toggle the auto-pitch settings again and exit that settings screen in order for the changes to take effect.

As always, you guys are doing great work, keep it up!

Dear user of Atomixmp3,

We know that the automix isn't yet the perfect tool for mixing. Indeed, in the 1.12 version, it is just a beta version of the new automix Engine we are working on.

For the jump in the beginning in the file, it is nomal!
Explication : For mixing, Atomixmp3 must have the two rythms in memory in order tow match it together.
So if the songs starts without rythm, Atomix look forward to see when the songs really start and select in memory this position. You can reset this automatic choice by pressing one time the stop button (in the denon skin press the S key when the correct desk - green - is actived).

For the auto-reset feature... I must say that I didn't think that users can use this reset feature WITH automix... So it is normal that the automix will be mad as a cow! Because he try to match the songs as perfectly as possible and one of this song change its rytmh.

Note that we are workin on it! Please be patient and wait the next releases of Atomixmp3.

This thread is almost 11 years old. That has to be some sort of record bump.

VirtualDJ supports automix, but later versions of VDJ automix on a single deck rather than deck to deck. You can enable deck to deck using VDJScript automix_dualdeck but this is deprecated.

If you have any further questions please start a new thread.
