I was wondering if it would be possible to animate a skin with a .gif file - nothing to big becuase it'' slow down the program but maybe for example a cd skin the tray could be open and when u load the first song the tray will close - dont really need it to be animated but i was just wondering, could it be done?

no, the skin engine only supports BMP file
Personnaly I'm agreeing with you, I'm waiting for animated skin with amazing animations - only if CPU charge is not more important than actually -
but the first important point in this program is the sound, the mix & the effects so that's why we will improve the skin engine only after have improved again the most important features of the software
