im kinda new to this program...and im not sure how to change the skin

First of all, you'll need some skins, but will assume that you have already downloaded some.
Unzip these files to the skin-directory which is a sub-directory for [atomixmp3].
Start Atomixmp3.
On the default-skin, there is a small button in the middle with a question-mark on it. Left-click on it.
Now you will get a list of options, and you'll find an option called "Change skins...". Left-click on it and a new window will pop-up with a list of skins that you have unzipped (pluss the default skin). Select one.
(Sorry about the lame instructions, but I don't know how familiar you are to this program.)

PS! You should keep in mind that some of these skins require the latest version of atomixmp3.
