Before I go and scan my 40,000 songs using the scan from virtualdj. How many of you rely on this for pulling up songs under BPM. Or should I say, how many of you have type this in manually through other sources where you got your BPM? I notice a lot of Dj's here say they usually pull there songs up by BPM. Which is cool. But the accuracy in geraral has always been alittle wacked.

We have 2 ways to do scan ours songs. Using Techno-Hip hop and All styles. If you use Techno Hip Hop it goes faster but it must mistake some song that aren't techno, dance, house or hip-hop maybe the BPMs aren't well done to slow songs (like ballads).

Use All styles, take more time to scan, but its more accurate in slow beat songs and in almost all the songs.

I would say that it gets the majority correct, It's definitely worth doing.

If you get a load of Hip Hop songs between 160-180bpm, simply go into "edit BPM" and half this with one click their, and Like wise If you get techno/house at 60-90bpm you can just double this, once you do this you should get over 90% accuracy.
