I keep getting this message on every start up "Direct X sound driver error". What's the fix?

go to soundcard settings in VDJ, and select the correct soundcard/setup....
Quit VDJ, and restart... the error message should be gone :)
the message usually just means that the soundcard configuration you have set, is wrong
