I have a p4 2.8 ghz 512 ram Gateway. While using the tccd setup or tccv setup, after a 1/2 hour I get drops when i select & cue my next record. as soon as i hit enter for the next song The song that's playing drops for 2-3 seconds. Also if I'm cuieng a song fast i.e. for quickmixing i get drops in the music. It seems like I have to wait for the selected song to load, Which if this is true? Why does it take so long to load & why would it cause the current selection to drop while playing? F.Y.I I have already tried the solutions suggested in the drops & skips post.

IMO this is a Ram issue, because the more you load songs and then play them and then reload other songs, the Ram gets tired and 512 could be too short for a TCV and TCCD setup.
you could try tweaking a little bit windows to use less ram when nothing is running on your computer.
And also verify how much Ram is used when using VDJ with the TCCDs / TCVs
