read all tweaks for xp and vdj
performed all tweaks that i read here and none worked
took everything off my gateway laptop 60gig 512 ram only left microsoft web browser and macafee virus protecton but disabled when runing vitual dj also disabled desk top clock and evey thing eles i could think ofr
**but vdj still skiped when load a extended track like 120min while another deck is playing
almost gave up until finally
***** got rid of skip
***** by going into djcmk2 settings and remove or deselecting the option (enable eq for inputs 3/4)
life is good again dont know if all that other stuff tha t i read here helped to solve the problem

fix skip vdjcmk2
go to config in virtdj select ( sound card) turn off ex for external input
when one deck is playing and u try and load a new track in the other player that is and extended track like 120 min or so the audio playing would skip. the above remedie helped me.

VirtualDJ is to mix music. You don't mix a song of 120 min ;-)
And imagine a 120 min mp3 decompressed in memory
