Hi,
I need your opinion... I use right now laptop with NVIDIA GeForce GO 7400, i play video at the club for long and right now i'm not able to use VDJ hardware acceleration with this card, VDJ does not support and resets program (famous smiley).
I'm thinking in changing for a laptop with ATI X1400.
Both of them are using new core duo from intel.
Is anybody using any of this two videocards? i would apreciate so much your opinion
Thanks in advance

Hi,

I'm afaid i havn't got either of those cards, but I've got an ATI (Radon 300?, i can look if you want.) Mine runs video fine.

From reading other posts on the forums it seems alot less people have problems with ATI cards generally.

Hope that helps :-)

As I said in other post... N-Vidia is the fastest video card, BUT the 7400 isn't one of them.

In here, ATI X1400 it's by far a better Video Card than a N-Vidia 7400. Mainly because 7400 use a 64 bit and X1400 uses a 256 bit. Other aspects are also better X1400 than 7400.

And of course a good configuration could fix troubles... Glad you get your system working :-)
