Very expensive though... It probably depends on what type of mixing you want to do -- for scratching, you'll want a needle that tracks well, for mixing, you'll want one with higher fidelity... To read the timecode, I don't think the needle has be exceptionally high quality though...

I sure they are good but a waste of money IMO, I'm not even sure if anyone has ever tested the difference. Call me crazy but if your needle has low output then when you calibrate in vdj it raises the volume level to make up for any difference, so i would say high output needles are really best on noraml vinyl.
