Hey y'all curious as to what effect or plugin in everybody is using to beatmix with the vocals of one song with the beat of another and how well it worked. I myself have tried the isolator plugin with not much success, its kinda confusing, as well as the vocal/beat remover that comes standard with vdj, its better then nothing but it still leaves me wanting more, much more!!

when im mixing i use the the EQ Crossfaders.. then kill the bass of the song going out.. just play around with them for a bit, you'll get the hang of it pretty quick :)

Oh yah i've tried thouse ofcourse and i frequently use them but i've heard some real good mashups that you can't do with just eq's

maybe look for a good VST instrument. Just Google a bit, you'll find one. i'm trying to make mine, but it isn't soooo easy...

Look for some acapelas and whatever the name of the other one is.. thatd help you a fair bit i imagine...?
