Wil VDJ ever support dual core processors?
Will it be written to utilize multithreading and be SMP aware?
Just about to buy / build a new PC just for Djing with. So while I'm at it I think I should get something that's fast and will last a couple of years.

VirtualDJ is multi-threads since a long time as it's a real-time software so yes it works very well with a dual core processor.
I have one and other users too with no problem ;-)

I would say the same thing. The only bad thing is that sometimes it overloads, even if it still remains stable. Maybe doing some optimisations in critical code (loops, buffers editing, etc.)?
