Sujet Newbie Question: What are the TCCDs used for?

Okay, I'm new, so here comes an easy newbie, stupid question.

What are the TCCDs (Time Coded CDs) everyone is talking about and that you can download?

These CDs (and also vinyls) are used to controll VirtualDJ with DJ cd-player or turntable. You have to connect cd-player or TT to computer, put in/on cd/vinyl and you can scratch, cue, and many things with it like you are using normal cds or vinyls, but you have all music on computer and played in VDJ.
