was playing about with vdj 4.0 today remapping different buttons on my mk1 console when bam, vdj shut down with a serious error or something.
Started vdj again then i get the following message.
Internal database corrupt.

followed by

The skin you trying to use is to high a resolution for your screen (summut like that)

Vdj still works but all of my settings have changed to default.
All of my Bpm and track lengths have dissapeared for each track i have.

WTF has happened?

I re installed vdj 4 but it still says the same mesages.

I rolled back my computer to 2 days ago and still corrupt database.

Any help would be great.

also i went back on vdj..scanned a few tracks and the bpm and track lengths came up as normal.
Shut down vdj then went back on.
Still it said corrupt database and the songs that i had scanned and analysed no longer had there bpms and track length.

Your database is corrupted and you need to remove it from VDJ folder and than it will create a new one. It is "Virtual DJ database.xml" file, don't delete it, somebody here can help you to repair it, just move it on some other location for now so you can use VDJ. It happend to you because of crash or VDJ wasn't closed correctly. Dev team should make some Tool for repairing corrupted database because it is a little error in file.
