i have the djms3 w/ vitual dj, when i record a mix it saves as a wav file maybe this is default but can't get it to play the windows media player. need help

When you record in VDJ you can change it to MP3.
Click Record
Click config (within record)
then change format to mp3
Click Record

but first you need to lame_enc.dll (mp3 encoder) freely found on the net then insert it to MP3 encoder than your on your way recording in MP3
