Sujet Can Anyone Advise me what to do??

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Im wanting to buy/download virtual Dj, but with the trial version found that the mixes were sometimes jumping alot. Is this due to it being a trial software?? or my mixing ability!!

Also what is the best option to buy??
Cheers

Hi and welcome to Virtual DJ...(",)

First of all, what are the specs of your computer? Check out the minimum and recommended specs for running the program. Very often skips and jumps can be put down to a users machine and can sometimes be fixed using software/hardware tweaks. If you post what you are using, we can narrow down the problem a bit.

Also, if you're serious about becoming a dj with your pc, virtual dj is a good way to go. You can buy it here. The price is reasonable for a fantastic product. You get 24/7 support, ample advice from other experienced users of the program and (well, to date anyway) free upgrades of the software.

It's easy to use and you can manipulate the software to suit your needs as well.

Cheers...and keep spinnin'...(",)

It could be one or several things amongst a lot of possibilities.Tech support can help and also see the very useful post by djcoco.
If you have a laptop (you didn\'t say what your rig consists of ) turn off the wireless connectivity. If you\'re lucky that alone would do it.

This is one of those things where you can reinvent the wheel over and over . If you are having problems people w/ your new set up or trialware it is YOUR SYSTEM ,not the software that is the problem, (that applies to your soundcard problems also).

No company releases crappy trialware so that you won\'t buy their product.

When you need help you can try a user forum or tech support; either way you have to tell them what your rig consists of(Operating System,Processor and how much RAM).
Have you noticed that with Microsoft for instance, their are basically 3 operating systems ,XP Home,XP
Professional and XP Media edition.....yet any of those can run a nearly limitless number of applications and software. This is because there are drivers.Drivers allow your software to connect to and work through your operating system.

This is why you didn\'t have to go buy the Windows XP with VirtualDj edition.

Have you ever taken an RCA wire and stuck 2 male 1/4 inch plugs into it and then connected to a mixer ? In my analogy , the RCA wire is the software, the 1/4 plugs are the drivers and the mixing board is the operating system. Having said all that ,if your rig equals or exceeds the minimum requirements to run the software,if you contact tech support and take their good advice and do the recomended tweaks ,you WILL have the Windows XP with VirtualDj edition.......dig??

As always, what happens in the DJ booth , mostly stays in the DJ booth....
