Sujet Does Virtual DJ re-caliber by itself ?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hi, I would like to know if it's necessary to re-caliber virtual dj everytime you use it with different turntables to play with timecoded vinyls?

I heard that Serato Scratch do the job by itself, and I really have to know this before buying hercules mk2 w\ virtual dj, because I don't have time to caliber the software in front of the crowd, you just have to plug n play!

Thanks for the help

Not by itself, but there is a "auto-config" button in timecode settings wich does this (set levels etc) and you need just 10 seconds to open options and press it.
I do this even on the fly, (it is safe) when i use tccds. You don't need to restart the software or anything.
Just an advice: if timecode/tcv is the way you work get virtual dj full and a better soundcard. Hercules may do the job but its not the best option.

What if I just leave this "auto-config" option always avaliable? Wouldn't it solve the problem?

Which external sound cards would you recomend as a good option to use with timecoded vinyls?

Thanks a lot
