I have updated to the VT DJ 4.1.r2. I have a BCD2000. I have trouble recording my session like I used to do with the 3.4 version. After I record a mix or a song on the 4.1r2version. when I try to play the file with either window media or the itune player i get an error message(Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.) can we get some help with that please?

Are you trying to listen to it with VDJ still open? I had the same problem and closing VDJ first solved it for me;^]

did you record the file in .ogg or .mp3?

I've recorded in both mp3 and the ogg mode. I think It's the BCD2000 asio sound card lack of interface capability issues. I am not a happy camper. That sucks

Okay, let me rephrase my issue. when I record a session or a song. I can not play it in the window media player 11, but I can play it in the itune player or real player. My question is why is that, and what's the remedy to that?

Are you playing Itunes DRM protected files? If you use protected files, they will probably not play in Mediaplayer.
