Hi there,
I called Hercules as I though speed and audio problems were because of them.
They answered me there is no guaranty of interop between MK2 & the V4.1 at the moment and that both companies were currently working out a solution...
So my question is whether anyone has a precise idea when a solution is to be expected ?
Cheers,

Hi,
Thanks for answering.
Songs take lots of time to get loaded. The whole thing is like my PC's not powerfull enough to run the system.
Do not have such a problem with the version of the Virtual Dj that comes with the MK2 gear (V2.x).
Hope you can help

hi..
can you please give us your computer specifications, so that we know that the computer is powerful enough to handle the program..
vdj has come a long way since 2.x and maybe your computer cannot handle it..
also..
take a song, analyse it by right clicking on it and saying analyse..once it has been analysed for the bpm and length, try loading it and see if there is a difference in the loading time..
cheers

some steps u can take to make your pc performance increase
1. buy some more ram
2. Run Defrags Once a Week
3. try optimisation tools – ie www.iolo.com
4. Lower the performance slider in the main settings , preferences > performance (take it from quality to fast)
5. analize ur entire song collection
6. Put Your music on a separate disk or partition to that of your os
hope that helps :)

Hi all,
Thks again for the help
Intel P4; 1,5 GHz. RAM : 512Mo
Could of course be better but still should be sufficient I guess. I cannot add more RAM anayway.
Again when using MK2 sound card only, things work fine with VDJ V2. I mean it really works well without any issue
Tho it is more convinient for me to keep my speakers on the internal Sound card. More convinient for recording and better to enjoy the VDJ V4...
Btw, all songs are already analyzed...that's what depresses me ;-)
If u have any ideas...
Thks again
