Sujet Strange 'chatter' noise

I'm new to this program so I'd need some help with this. I tried the new 4.2 version and I got a problem with it. The older v3.4 didn't have this problem. When I play music and then touch any of the buttons (volume, treble, mid, bass knobs etc etc) I hear strange noise coming out of them. It's hard to explain what kind of sound I mean so I made a little sample of music playing when I move the knobs. I cut the mid sounds intentionally because then the "crumble" noise sounds louder. I use Hercules Dj Control MK2.

Anyone know what causes this? I'd appreciate the help..

on the options page go to proformance

then lower your proformance tab to fast

and for latency choose "auto"

I've got a 2,6GHz AMD with 1Gb of Memory and I use the Mk2 own soundcard. But hey I figured it out. It stopped when I turned the Safe Mode off. What is the Safe Mode for?
