I have been thinking baout making a demo CD to pass out for gigs...mostly clubs and bars.
What should I have on it...beat matching skills, mixing skills.....full songs, just clips?

i used to be a club promoter and Djs woudl always give me tapes...and the ones that i felt were good were ones that had
1) newer songs --even ones not released--shows you into what you do
2) mix skills were on point - no train wrecks
3) a couple of scatches here and there --not some crazy scratch piklz stufff lol
4) songs were mixed fast--maybe do snippets of songs...to give and idea of what you play...
5) Talk to the man in charge! make sure yuo give your disk to the one who makes the decision and not the little peon

haha i said tapes...as in mix tapes--when i shoudl have said mix cds...lol sorry
