I've read the posts on using external cameras for a live feed using VDJ. Apparently there were problems in VDJ 4.0. Have these problems been corrected?
I'd like to be able to hook up a camcorder or similar, but i'm unsure as to what will work.
I've tired my USB webcam, but its just not good enough quality and has no zoom.
Can anyone offer any suggestios on using cam? Has anyone tried using a live feed from a cctv camera?
Gary

Hi Gary,
From what I've heard people have been struggling with professional cameras. I think the trick though is to buy one of those video input usb adaptors.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-VideoBus-II-Video-adapter/dp/B0000ASWZ1/ref=sr_1_66/026-0470323-4414826?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1179700533&sr=1-66
(Not saying that one definitely works, but people with similar ones have made them work)
There's a few other from a company called "dazzle" i think. Somebody wrote on one of the forums a few weeks ago about one they'd bought and had good results with- can't remember who though!

I use a dazzel to capture dvd, it works very well.
I'm not conviced it would work for VDJ. On the surface it should - it's just an input device
might require some "tinkering" and experimenting.

There is someone here doing it, but I can't find his post. Will look later on.
