Sujet: World's First USB Turntable

Hey all,

Saw this in the Sharper Image catalog. Is it realy the first USB turntable? Good for digitallizing vinyls. Check it out! It's $199.95. If you get the catalog, there is a $20 discount.

Far from the first. I posted about the ION USB TT probably well over a year ago
 

 

Denon has had a digital Turnable for years now. although it's not USB, but it does have a Coaxial digital output. DJ151

Yeah, they've been out for a long time now Speed.

The ION's that anewsome is speaking of is just Numark's consumer line. You can find ION products at general electronic re-sellers like Circuit City, Radio Shack, etc.

I would stick to analog recordings, I use the SPDIF on my ttx-1 and it sounds like sh!t. I am sure recording via usb will yield the same results.
 

I have one ttx-1 and I second that is sound like crap through the Digi-output.
