Will we ever see a visualization plug in like Winamp offers?
To be able to utilize the Milkdrop and other Winamp visualizations with VDJ audio would be incredible.
Beat active visuals is one killer effect to add to a show.
I currently mix video with audio and use various ambients during the audio portion.

Maybe someone could create a plugin who uses TV output like karaoke plugin.
I'm not able to make it that's sure.

I love milkdrop and would love to have it running, oh lets say a big display right behind or next to me while I VDJ...
I've been thinking about this and figured that you could probably run a line-in into a seperate computer which would be your VFX controller. Kinda sucks to have yet another dedicated box like that though. 8\

Actually thats probably the best way you could do it!!!
In Winamp just play from URL, which if I remember off hand is
linein://
sorted ;-)
don''t know if it would be as acurate as Winamp actually playin it as the plugin wouldnt be able to read the waveform in advance.

For some reason resources are right through the roof when I use line in with VDJ.
And I get some bleed through the desktop.
If somebody would refine the settings to tweak it to run with VDJ that would be the nutz.
