Gave it a 4 hour test last night. Looks good so far
Rock Solid. Great sound, especially with wav files.

I'm delighted with the controller and VDJ


 
Once a Denon fan, always a Denon fan.

Can't say I ever experienced this problem with my 4500/VDJ, but thanks for the fix anyways!

For a 19" MIDI controller with displays, control of CD players & internal sound card, you bet!
 
I just bought the DN-HC4500 last night.
I registerd it, installed it, updated it, and sucessfuly used it at a gig all within about 2 hours.
Call me crazy, but it worked great! I have to say I'm loving the hot starts!!
Now for my questions:
Is their a list of what all the buttons do?
Also are there any recomendations for ASIO settings in the driver and performances tab?
BTW I'm using it in native mode, & I haven't changed anything.

I second that question, whilst pressing buttons seems to indicate their use, there are probably functions and combinations of functions which we don't know about.

Jep, some information on what each button's fuction is would be nice
 
i just hooked up my hc4500 for the first time and I ran the update from denons site however the sound card works great I just can't seem to use the controller at all. How do I get virtual dj to recongnize that the hc4500 is the controller. I activated it from the remote control options but i still have nothing.
On the controller is says PC and if i touch a button it says link but still i can not control the software
Any helop would be great
 
Did you follow the instructions included with the Denon update - As well as updating the firmware, this involves installing a new ASIO driver and re-installing the USB driver for the HC4500. If you don't do this, it may not work correctly.

Activating it in VDJ is just a mater of activating the HC4500 in the remote control options. Make sure you are using the latest version of VDJ.
 
Yes, after you install v1005, follow the included PDF directions on how to uninstall the old driver from your computer.
It should all work out.
