Guys does anybody knows how can you output two different video outputs from vdj (one for each player)to use with a video mixer like the new toy in the picture?
I did tried all kind of things at least to make my nvidia card to output the video mix to tv out and keep the vdj screen on the laptop and that didn't work(anytime I was trying to output to tv would give me a driver error, is there a known issue with nvidia drivers?).
The only way that worked with vdj was to have the nvidia configured for two monitors with extended desktop and dragged the monitor window over to the tv out, but you can't maximize the monitor window, so is there a better solution that can have the VDJ working with the nvidia GeForce4 448go card even with one output for the tv svideo out?
Or I should just go out and buy to pioneer dvjs?

Unfortunately VDJ / Cue produces a single video output at this time , something i would really like to see changed so that full video mixers can be used to allow users to video and audio mix with a real mixer.

The might be the long way of going about doing it, but I know it will work...
Step 1: Get another computer
While this may seem like a more complicated or expensive way of going about, it's actually is a good idea.
I'm going guess that budget is not an issue...
So here is why I think the second pc is the way to go-
For staters 4 "virtual" decks! The way I would do it is to "load doubles" synced on each pc. Then you could do the vdj transition effects along with your mixer effects. 2 of of the decks don't even have to be music videos. You could mix in movie clips, or any visuals to go along with the videos your mixing, againg with vdj video effects of cousre. You could prolly set the thing up with two laptops where the turntables normally go.
Well I guess that was it. I think you get the idea.
Lovely mixer btw =)

One thing you could try if you cant invest in another computer , is getting a dual headed graphics card and keeping your current card , run VDJ in multi instance mode apply each instance to a different card.
Share the dual card with your windows display.

Guys I was afraid about the dual output, anyway the dual instance video is not good for this lappy, is just an intel 3ghz ht and even with a 7200rpm hdd is struggling with video, but as you can see I do have two of those.
Anyway I can't solve the problem with the tv output, so if you guys have any thoughts about how can I make my nvidia card to output the video mix to the svideo tv output and in the same time would keep the vdj skin on the main screen I would appreciate it a lot
I wonder if is any pcmcia video cards that would work better with vdj and if yes how do I disable the on board card, or can I run them together, btw I use win xp pro sp2 and vdj 5.07
thank you
Alex

Use DUAL-VIEW setting od the videocard
BUT FIRST you have to plug a monitor or a projector to the output of your SVM-1000 and then restart your pc.
I use a 10 dollar switcher and everytime I use it I plug my projector and all cables and then switch on the pc.

I did, the image you see on the monitor is through the SVM1000, my problem is with the nvidia tv output

I did it, thank you guys, I just had to right click on the second monitor icon in the nvidia config panel and check "attached", then set the video parameters for whatever the monitor, tv or projector supports then enabled tv out to nvidia in vdj video config.
it works, yeees!
this will rock!
no need for pio dvjs, but I would need one more denon 4500.
the idea with cloning the song is great, so you'd have a video loop to call whenever you want to blend it in
anyway this setup is going to be complex and heavy and video is still kind of basic quality, not hd, but is going to be a lot of fun.
Happy Spinning!
