Hi,
A friend of mine is trying to install the DJConsole on a portable PC (I can post the tehcnical infomation if needed) and got the following :
1) Install the drivers
2) Message to plug the console in (stays like that for a moment)
3) Plug the console in ..... all the lights are on
4) Windows XP detect the console and begins installing it (I choose install automatically)
5) The DJ Console end up with a "?" mark next to it (driver problem)
6) I downloaded the latest driver version from Hercules
7) I tried to uninstall it : message are you sure you want to remove completely .... YES ... uninstall ..... reboot : EVERTHING IS STILL THERE. I did this 4 times in a row but couldn't get it removed
8) I did a system restore to get rid of the previous installation
9) Tried the installation again with the new drivers .... sadly ... start at point 1 again :(
Somebody has had the same problems or could give me some advice on things I could try ?

Additional info : even if Windows XP detects the DJConsole that has just been connected, the message asking to plug in the console stays on screen.

It's an alimentation problem.I've the same problem on my laptop but on my Home PC works fine!!!!!!!!!
