Hi guys,
I'm in search of a new (Vista) laptop so that means also a new USB soundmodule.
My Soundblaster Extigy has served me for many years, but there are no Vista drivers for it.
I'm not going to use an external mixer or controller, because i've got only place enough for my laptop at my gigs.
Does anyone has experiences with the M-Audio fast track pro/ultra. (driver problems, sound quality, etc)
Any suggestions besides the Maya.
I guess I should stay away from the soundblaster USB X-Fi surround 5.1 which is actually a new version of the Extigy.
Can anyone advise me.

I'm very happy with my Fast Track PRO on XP SP3, the audio quality is very good and I hope it work fine also with Vista.
