Sujet: Connecting a Mic to DJ IO problems

Hello there, Im have just purchased a numark mic and im lost on how i can get the sound out of it? i have connected it to my dj io sound driver and in cue i change it the config to master+mix..and in the drop down box i select mic..but i dunno why i can't get any sound? can anyone help me pls?

Are you trying to broadcast/record this? Or, use it in the more traditional live situation?
 
well i want if for broadcast and to talk over when recording mixes too
 
I never used mine that way but....you would need to select the mic in your PC sound set up also.
Go to Start/Settings/Control Panel/Sounds and Devices....and select the DJ i/o there..it might just be named USB sound device...then select the USB sound device in the record feature in VDJ....See if that does it for you...

Sorry I forgot..there are two places...voice and sound recording...mine is set to both with the USB mic I use...
 
OOK i go to setup
my sound setup for recording is numark USB AUDIO
midi playback is USB audio

then

voice playback is my soundcard

and voice recording is Numark USB audio

now when i got to test the hard hardware i get no sound
 
No, it will not act like a PA..but it should record for you...or broadcast.....
 
well i would like both..i like to talk over broadcasts and when im recording audio too
