Hi folks,
I just realized the phono output in channel 1 of my mixer is distorting sound and giving out too much sound.
The output indicator light goes through the roof with the green and yellow lights showing for a long time. The gain is not even 1/4 of the way up.
When I set up my equipment through line rather than phono and set the switch to line on my mixer the sound is crisp and perfect.
I have checked and switched the rca cables, top quality monster and other regular rcas that come with Axis 9. So it is not a cable problem, its a mixer problem or a dj problem, ....me, who does not know how to properly set up, LOL!!!
Trust me, I have done all checks with how to turn on/off equipment.
I use Axis 9's. I have two and have updated the drivers to r6.
I am using virtual vinyl and am trying to set it up so that I can switch over to cd's with ease if I have too.
Is there a way to reset the mixer or calibrate it? (Yes dumb question if it is).
What am I doing wrong??? I am novice dj. Thanks.:o:D
I use a Macbook pro with the lastest leopard 10.5 something!!
